The Light Path
Guided Lectio Divina with Luke 15:8-10
Welcome back to the Light Path, friends—a place to slow down and enter into an interior stillness as you journey with the Light of the Living Word.
As we continue with the Quotidian Questions: Questions Jesus Asks Along the Way this month and settle in with July’s one sacred question (read July’s sacred question here), I want to leave you with a guided audio Lectio Divina and a short benediction to companion you as you move through the rest of the month in this space.
As a reminder, you can always refer back to this post for more information on the prayer of Lectio Divina. While a guided audio Lectio Divina will feel somewhat different than engaging in the practice in silence on your own, the flow is the same. If you are new to this ancient prayer practice, a guided audio Lectio Divina can be a helpful place to start as you get used to the rhythms of listening in a posture of holy curiosity. You can scroll to the end of the linked post above to find each step of the process.
This is a spacious place and you are invited to be led by the Light of the Living God.
Quick Note: On the back of your sacred question color card (read more here), I invite you to write down the word or phrase you received during this guided audio Lectio Divina. As you continue to pause and reflect on this month’s one sacred question when you see this month’s sacred question color, engaging with the word or phrase you received from Lectio Divina can be an added layer of interior formation as you journey with Jesus on your sacred question pilgrimage.
May holy curiosity guide and guard your path as you journey in friendship with Christ.

It struck me that Jesus didn't shy away from giving this example of a female as an image of God. I felt so blessed that God searches for me and seeks me out, and my lost parts. He is not a domineering demanding God, but one who wants to help me.
